The City of Ft. Worth was established in 1849 as an Army Outpost on a bluff overlooking the Trinity River.
The Stockyards are the main attraction
in the City of Fort Worth.
There is a mall at the
Stockyards Station filled with
souvenir shops, museums,
restaurants, bars.
A petting zoo, maze, and mechanic bull
are across from the Railway Station.
Cowtown Coliseum hosts a weekly rodeo
and also has the Texas Cowboy
Hall of Fame, John Wayne Hall of Fame, and the Cowgirls Hall of Fame.
Ft. Worth Stockyards ~ Cattle Drives
The Cattle Drives are held daily at
11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. along East
Exchange Avenue in the Stockyards National Historic District.
The cattle drives are best viewed from the sidewalks and restaurants on East Exchange Avenue with outdoor dinning
or from the lawn in front of the
Livestock Exchange Building.
The longhorns reside in the corral
located behind the Livestock Exchange Building where they eat, sleep, and
are well cared for.
BILLY BOB's Texas is located in the
Ft. Worth Stockyards.

Billy Bob's Closes between 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Billy Bob's does NOT have a
'Mechanical Bull'
The club has almost three acres under one roof. Indoor Rodeo Arena with 'live' bull riding. A Texas-sized dance floor offering live music, dozens of bar stations, a Wall of Fame with celebrity handprints, a gift shop and a full kitchen and restaurant featuring
Texas favorites.
